The dense felted New Zealand wool is naturally fire-resistant and absorbs the heat from your hot iron immediately. Your pressed fabric receives heat from the iron and the mat. This increases your pressing efficiency when ironing seams and hems. The result is a very crisp and flat seam or hem. No more puckering, wavy or stretched results.
