Instructions

Sewing Clips

1. Push the clip open wide and place it along the edge of your fabric — just as you would use a sewing pin, but without the prick!
2. Use the seam allowance markings (¼", ⅜", 3/16") on the bottom of each clip to place clips consistently along hems and bindings.
3. Clip binding in place before sewing it down, or hold multiple fabric layers together on laminate, leather, vinyl, or silk where pins would leave holes.

Chalk Marker – White

1. Roll the toothed wheel smoothly over your fabric to create clear chalk lines — works with a ruler for straight lines or freehand for curves.
2. Remove marks by gently rubbing the fabric with your hands, a soft brush, a damp cloth, or rinsing with water.
3. Always test on a scrap or the wrong side of your fabric first to confirm easy removal.
4. Refill by unscrewing the tip and replacing the chalk cartridge when empty.

Heat Erasable Fabric Marker Pens

1. Write or draw your marks on fabric (seams, hems, embroidery lines, dart placements, etc.). If using the white pen, allow a few seconds for the ink to appear.
2. When ready to remove, heat your iron to at least 180°F/80°C and press over the marks. Marks disappear completely with heat.
3. Store pens tip-down, tightly capped. Use within 5 months. Replace cartridge when ink is low.

Binder Pockets

1. Assign one binder pocket per sewing project. Slide it into your 3-ring binder or Madam Sew Carry-All Binder Bag.
2. Fill each pocket with pattern pieces, instructions, fabric swatches, and small notions for that project.
3. Use the colored tabs to label and color-code different projects for quick, at-a-glance identification.

Lighted Seam Ripper

1. Remove the insulating sheet from the battery compartment before first use — slide the ON/OFF switch to ON to activate the LED light.
2. Insert the sharp tip between the thread and fabric from the bobbin side. Slide gently to cut individual stitches or slip the hook under a thread to slice through the seam.
3. Switch the LED OFF when finished to preserve battery life.
