How to Apply Fusible Hemming Tape:

1. Position the Tape: Place a strip of tape along the hemline or edge of your fabric where you want to bond the layers.
2. Step 1 – Initial Bonding: With the paper backing still on, apply heat from a household iron or pressing machine over the tape. This secures the tape lightly to the fabric, allowing you to work in steps.
3. Step 2 – Remove Paper Backing: Once the tape is secured, peel off the paper backing to reveal the adhesive side of the tape.
4. Step 3 – Final Bonding: Fold the fabric over the exposed adhesive side of the tape and press with your hot iron to permanently bond the layers.

Pro Tip: The tape is designed to handle various iron settings since you never apply heat directly to it – there’s always a layer of paper or fabric in between.

For Use as Basting Tape: Allow the glue to cool completely before sewing over it. Hot glue may leave residue on your needle.
